The event is a three-part series on Sunday afternoons, and will be held at the Fremont Branch Library meeting room.
October 5th: The first session includes A TOUR of the whimsical Fremont business district, where we'll examine how art is incorporated into the buildings, and how both are integrated into the neighborhood.
October 12th: In the second session we'll take what we learned on the tour into the DESIGN STUDIO where students will develop their own building and art-form project.
October 19th: In the third session, students will add last-minute touches to their project, get presentation tips, and PRESENT their ideas to family, friends, and the community.
Materials will be provided for students to develop their projects. These sessions developed for middle school and high school students.
Funded by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award from the City of Seattle, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
This event is not sponsored by the Seattle Public Library.
