6th Annual Casual Concours: The Palm Springs Classic Car Show
(Palm Springs, CA) The classic car enthusiast group Great Autos of Yesteryear will be holding its 6th Annual Casual Concours, the Palm Springs Charity and Classic Car Show at the Desert Princess Country Club on Saturday, October 18th from 10:00am until 3:00pm. For an admission price of $10 per person, the event will offer the opportunity to view over 100 classic and exotic cars. Entry tickets may be purchased online here or at the gate on the day of the event while supplies last.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and will include an on-site Animal Adoption Clinic and "Canine Cruise-In Dog Show," bringing the Animal Shelter to you in a fun and festive way. Whether you are a pet lover, a car lover, or both, this event is a fun and inexpensive way to support a worthwhile local charity while enjoying the artistry of rare and vintage automobiles from the 1940's to today. "This is always a fun, friendly and enjoyable event that raises a considerable amount of money for the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. We are expecting over 900 people at this year's event," said Steven Cidlik, President of Great Autos of Yesteryear. "Our members look forward to this event all year long." Event-goers will also have the opportunity to win a 1984 Cadillac Seville by purchasing Car Raffle tickets for $5 each or 5 for $20. Raffle tickets will be available on-site the day of the event.
The Light Royal Blue 1984 Cadillac Seville with gorgeous white leather interior and a white cabriolet roof was considered one of Cadillac's most distinctly designed cars of the 1980's. One lucky winner will drive off in this now 30-year old beauty, which will be raffled off the day of the Show.
The event is presented by sponsors OMAG Automotive & Machine Shop and McCormick's Palm Springs Collector Car Auction, along with Media Sponsor the CV Independent.
