ABOUT THE BANDS

Mount Joy (PDX)
Soul Folk Quintet
https://mountjoymusic.bandcamp.com/

Birthed from the countryside of Oregon, Mount Joy has been together since the start.  Influenced by everything from choir arrangements to Drake, their magnetic sound has been shakin' up the Eugene and Portland music scene ever since they got here in 2012 .  Their funky beats and hypnotic harmonies are sure to draw you in and keep your toes tapping 'till the cows come home.

Saigon County (Enterprise, OR)
Indie Americana
www.SaigonCounty.com

Saigon County embraces both of these aspects of the region, shaping them into melodies that reflect the values and struggles of the land.

Led by singer and guitarist Brian Buck, his vocals range from husky whispers about everyday heartache to belting ballads for home, family, and the west. Backed by the seasoned and versatile singer/songwriter Eric Sinclair along with Wallowa County native, Joel Stein on the bass, Saigon County is the complete package: earnest men, making honest music.

Bart Budwig (Moscow, ID)
Singer/Songwriter
www.BartBudwigMusic.com

Bridging the gap between the wide-open sprawl of classic Americana, the insightful observations of folk and the grit and honesty of authentic country, Bart Budwig's music is both a powerful statement and a great listen.

Bart's songs are highly evolved, utterly natural and unwaveringly human, incorporating themes of loss ("A Coke and a Smile" is about the passing of his mother), longing ("Whisky Girl" is about a lover moving to Texas) and even a cover of "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys".
