The Espwa Foundation's: Haiti Benefit Concert
Join us for a wonderful evening of music, food, discussion, and celebration as we raise money to benefit the projects of the Espwa Foundation in Haiti.
Musicians Joy Ike & Peace Ike, Mark Williams and musical group Slow Machete are sharing their talents to raise money and awareness for The Espwa Foundation. All proceeds from concert ticket sales will go to The Espwa Foundation to further their mission.
Espwa means "Hope" in Creole. Our "Hope" is that by rising up as a community of believers, we can see true change as we work alongside our friends in Haiti. Our work is focused in the Cap Haitien area of Haiti. We support clinics, missionaries, orphanages and are part of a network of organizations that strive to make a positive difference by working closely with the Haitian people.
The Espwa Foundation, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, with a 501(c)(3) status is a collaboration between Haitians and Americans that seeks to bring medical attention to those in the greatest need in Cap Haitien, Haiti.
In addition to the the wonderful music, you can make an additional online charitable contributioin directly to the Espwa Foundation. (http://espwa.com/donate.html)
Thank you for your support!
