This Is Oakland Book Signing & PIC Oakland Reception
Enjoy a beautiful evening at the Gondola Servizio and Lake Chalet docks while sipping wine and enjoying lite fare + cookie bar. But there's so much more....

We'll have gondola tours all night long and meet the awesome team behind This Is Oakland: Melissa Davis and Kristen Loken for their book signing.

You'll also meet participants of the PIC Oakland photo contest and will get to view the pics of the top 10 finalists printed by Bay Area Custom Prints, who will be showing off the quality of their beautiful prints. Special thanks to Panorama Framing as they get ready to frame these AWESOME OAKLAND PICS!

Meet the judges responsible for choosing the top 10 finalists: Allan Mendez, Kelly Patrick Dugan and Kristen Loken. During the event they will discuss and choose the Judges PICk - winner of the grand prize: Gondola Servizio Wine & Cheese Tour, This Is Oakland Gift Bundle & $50 Lake Chalet gift card.

Those in attendance will also vote for the people's PICk - who will win a Chocolate Dessert Tour plus TCHO chocolate wrapped in a ceramic vase from Gondola Servizio.

We'll be giving away prizes through a raffle: A Cerco Necklace from Crown Nine, Prize Basket from Rare Bird, Enticing Earrings from Lorna Moglia Designs, Oaklandish Tee and Tote, Marion & Rose Gift Bundle.

Other special guests will be from the amazing business owners who donated prizes for our raffle prize giveaways, our media partners: Oakland Grown, City of Oakland, Visit Oakland & Oakland Local. Plus meet the fabulous April Quinn, owner of Gondola Servizio, the person responsible for having this event in the first place.

Those who RSVP receive a glass of wine (while supplies last) for the evening courtesy of Gondola Servizio who is pouring Italian varietals. They are also providing a cookie bar!

Special thanks to Lake Chalet for providing lite fare during the event.

5:30pm: First set of gondola tours and PIC Oakland reception + Lake Chalet Happy Hour

6:00pm: This Is Oakland book signing

7pm: Top 10 Finalists Judging

7:30pm: Announce Judge's & People's PICk & raffle prizes!
