The 8th Annual Tomato Romp returns on September 13th on Milwaukee's East Side in a day of eating, drinking and throwing tomatoes. The event features:
-East Side Green Market Tomato Harvest -Live Music -Live Art-in-Action -Bloody Mary Challenge where YOU decide & vote on the best among 14 contenders -Tomato Chomp tomato-inspired small plates specials -Best Tomato Romp Costume Contest -Tomato Romp Procession to the Tomato Fight led by a band
AND AMERICA'S LONGEST RUNNING ROTTEN TOMATO FIGHT FOR HUNGER Sponsored by Maglio & Co
Tomato Romp! runs 10 a.m. 6 p.m. on E. North Avenue between Prospect and Oakland Aves and is hosted by the East Side Business Improvement District. Tickets are required to take part in the Bloody Mary Challenge & Tomato Fight but it is free to watch.
Tickets purchased on-line can be picked up starting at 10 a.m. on Sept. 13th (you will recieve instructions upon purchase)
*You must be 16 or older to take part in the Tomato Fight & 21 or older to participate in the Bloody Mary Challenge
