The Seven Last Words of Christ
The Esterházy String Quartet will perform the sequence of 7 slow movements and one earthquake movement that Joseph Haydn wrote in 1783 for the Cathedral in Cadiz, to be performed on Good Friday.
In keeping with the original performance, there will be short readings between the movements, and the event will conclude in silence and darkness.
Note that the performance will start at 10 pm.
