Romeo & Juliet at NORTH HENNEPIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Ten Thousand Things opens the 2014-15 season with its first-ever production of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. A diverse cast takes on Shakespeare's tale of finding love when surrounded by family and societal cultures of violence.
Directed by Peter Rothstein.
Namir Smallwood and Anna Sundberg star as the young lovers, joined by David Darrow, Bob Davis, Kurt Kwan, Dennis Spears, Karen Wiese-Thompson , and Regina Williams.
THIS IS A FREE PERFORMANCE, BUT SEATS ARE LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
Take 94 West to exit 31, County Rd 81. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for County Rd 81 North. Merge onto Bottineau Blvd/Cty Rd 81 and follow for one mile. Turn right at County Rd 152/Brooklyn Blvd/77th Ave and follow for half a mile. Turn left onto West Broadway Ave and follow for one mile. You will see the West Entrance to North Hennepin Community College on Broadway but continue to 85th Ave North/ Cty Rd 109 and take a right. Take your first right into the East Entrance. There will be campus buildings on your right and parking on your left. The performance will take place in the Center for Business and Technology, the last building on your right, in the large conference room - the Grand Hall. There will be signs guiding you to the performance area. ADA accessible.
