River Jam Festival, Sept. 26-28, 2014
The River Jam Festival will be an all-music weekend in Biddeford, Maine! The Main Stage will be outdoors on Saturday, Sept. 27 in the huge lot behind York Street (part of the Pepperell Mill Campus). The Outdoor Stage will feature some of Maine and New England's favorite bands, with a feel-good vibe, along with Banded Horn Brewery and food trucks!
Saturday night on the outdoor stage, we have confirmed What Cheer Brigade, Kingsley Flood and Lady Lamb the Beekeeper. The outdoor stage has a $5 cover charge.
During the day, we have Rob Duquette, Michael Wingfield, Amy & the Engine, Samuel James, and The Band Apollo.
The Oak + the Ax Fest (at 140 Main Street) will have music Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday.
Plus, a "fringe" fest will also be brewing in all the venues throughout town all weekend, with a great variety of music spread out over the weekend. During ArtWalk Friday night, you'll hear music all over town, and can even get in on the act. Join Jim O'Neil at City Theater from 6:30-8 p.m. for an On-Stage Open Jam.
Also on Saturday, we'll weave our 10 year tradition of Chalk on the Walk into all this fun by hosting a kid's area with "Chalk While You Rock." Bounce houses, bungie jumping, horse rides, and good things to eat too!
Lots more info coming soon! HOB will partner with the Pepperell Mill Campus, the Oak + the Ax, Biddeford Savings Bank, Engine, local sponsors and various venues to host this great weekend of musical entertainment! A portion of profits will go to the Heartwood College project called, "Art to Heal." Read more here: http://www.heartwoodcollegeofart.org/arttoheal/arttohealclasses.html
