An afternoon of the best in Portland blues on every level of the Spirit featuring the Journey to Memphis All Stars.

Every year, the Cascade Blues Association, Portland's premier blues organization, holds their "Journey to Memphis" contest to send a band and a solo/duo act to represent this region in the renowned International Blues Challenge in Memphis.  An event that in 2014 brought 255 acts from around the world for competition and comraderie.

All ticket proceeds of this not to be missed afternoon of music on the Willamette will go to send current Journey to Memphis winner the Rae Gordon Bandand help provide airfare, lodging and meals to all of their band members at the upcoming January 2014 IBC.

October 4, 3pm-5:30pm (boarding at 3pm, boat cruises from 3:30-5:30pm)
Portland Spirit, Waterfront Park, Portland
Ticket $25 includes drawings for certificates from local eateries and blues clubs. Food and drink will be available for purchase on boat
