An Americana Evening
Coco Paco's September Showcase just before the beginning of AMA week in Nashville. The music begins at 7pm kicked off with SUZETTE LAWRENCE and the Texas sound she's so famous for. Suzette's new record is racing up the Americana charts. "Real rockin' retro Honkytonk, rockabilly and Americana from spit-fire Texan Suzette Lawrence."
Next up are the blusey and soulful sounds of BONNIE BISHOP. Her stories of survival and redemption, often weighted subject matter, find their way into empowering and anthemic songs fit for anyone's personal theme song playlist. Second timer to CP's An Americana Evening is the fine MICHAEL O'NEIL who will perform alongside magnificent RANDY KOHRS. "As an independent artist ONeill has featured in the Top 100 Americana records as rated by The Americana Music Association's Radio Chart and carries a "country/funk groove that sounds like someone rode a horse through a Motown studio" (FTB). Randy Kohrs calls his music a mixture of blues, country, bluegrass and Americana.  It is all of that- and more.  Alabama native GRAYSON CAPPS will sooth your ears and soul. "One will find a stunning depth to his discography, authenticating Grayson Capps as a rare American gem, equal parts country singer, bluesman, rock star, philosopher and poet." BRIGETTE DEMEYER & WILL KIMBROUGH are next up. Brigitte has a powerful voice that will pull you in. "She is a storyteller. She is the blues personified. Each lyric drips with emotion, curiosity and imagination."  Americana at it's finest Will Kimbrough has been playing this great music and alongside others for years. " In his quest to develop his musical capacities to their fullest, Will Kimbrough has become a modern-day Renaissance Man." The last act of the night is WALTER EGAN. His infamous ballad "Magnet & Steel" has continued to make him a mainstay for decades.lmost three decades later, Walter's signature song is a staple on the radio, and can also be heard in feature films and on television. Meanwhile, he has continued to make original music as both a prolific individual artist, with a total of eight solo CDs to his credit.
