On the Subway
Come on out to the Green Bluff Grange to ride the subway in the 2014 Old Orchard Theatre production of On the Subway written and directed by Spokane-local Justin M. Schlabach with creative input by the 2014 Old Orchard Theatre Cast! Join Johanna as she moves to New York City and meets Dakota, an NYU geography student, with whom she learns about true friendship. Also on the subway is the not-so-average Mrs. Ralston and a runaway named Liz who together form a bond around music while disgruntled actress Elaine and headphone-loving Chelsea join forces to find their own way in the city of New York. Amongst the activities of these characters is the overworked Kate weaving through their interactions all under the ever watching presence of Ruby, a woman who just likes to play Sudoku on the subway train. Full of crazy Old Orchard Theatre fun, On the Subway will make you laugh, dance, and reminisce on the friendships in your life. Don't miss this all-original production! All proceeds for On the Subway go toward the Green Bluff Grange Scholarship Fund to be given to local college students as scholarships.
