Elmhurst Stand-Up Comedy Show
Come see the inaugural, soon to be, hottest ticket in town, the Elmhurst Stand-Up Comedy Show @ Fitz's Spare Keys in beautiful downtown Elmhurst. The address is 119 N York Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126 and the show time is Saturday September 13th @ 8pm.You don't want to miss this show highlighting some of the top comics in the comedy hotbed that is Chicago. Comics performing are:
MIKE STRICKER has been doing comedy all over the Midwest for 2 and a half years. He's performed in 5 different states, and has opened for Pauly Shore and Mark Curry (TV's Hanging With Mr. Cooper). In April he won the Hashtag Wars and was on Comedy Central's Emmy Nominated @Midnight show. Mike will be direct support for Steve-O from Jackass September 27th. With life stories, impressions, demanding enthusiasm, and an interesting perspective on the world, Mike brings jokes for everyone.
JASON KRUSE has performed at the Hilarity Will Hit Your Ear Tonight Monthly Comedy Showcase at the Double Door in Chicago. He's Cigars and Stripes Comedy Night regular.
DAN BRENNAN has appeared at Zanies, The Improv, and is a regular at Riddles Comedy Club. He has opened for Jim Breuer and Mitch Hedberg.
JAMES VICKERY, James regularly performs at Zanies, has appeared on the Travel Channel and the Steve Harvey Show, and can frequently be heard on Pretty Late with Patti Vasquez on WGN Radio.
MARC MULVEY, a native of Chicago's Northwest Suburbs, got started in stand-up comedy as part of what he calls a "Mid-Life Crisis on a a Budget" Since that time has performed in Vegas as a finalist in the World Series of Comedy as well as venues across the Midwest including Zanies, Riddles, the Improv, and CD& Me.
In addition to stand-up comedy, Marc wrote and performed a one man show "Transition This!" about the struggles and silliness of finding work in the new millennium.
His humor is observational and self-deprecating. Whether he's commenting on his Irish American heritage, his forays into the dating game, or just the day's events, Marc loves to laugh at himself and invites the rest of us to join in.
