When most people hear the word poetry, their eyes glaze over. Not when veteran poet Ron Koertge is in the house. In the hands of a master, words become delicate instruments, allowing the fusion of sound, sensory experience, sybolism, and humor. In this one day class. Ron will help you find your inner Rimbaud, through fun in-class exercises and targeted workshopping. You'll learn what you need for your poems to sing, and by the end of class you'll have some great feedback on one of your poems and have learned how to write an irresistible sonnet. Your poems will penetrate the most hardened heart. Quill not included.
