Rebecca Solnit is bringing together nine decades of her favorite San Franciscans--native daughters, immigrant sons, and Mission catalysts--to celebrate and support Modern Times Books
80s: Barbara Stauffacher Solomon, design superhero, third-generation San Franciscan 70s: Rene Yanez, curator and Mission cultural key figure 60s: Aaron Shurin, lyric poet, essayist extraordinaire 50s: Rebecca Solnit, San Francisco chronicler, event ringmaster 40s: Jaime Cortez, artist and writer, Adriana Camarena, director, Unsettlers: Migrants, Homies, and Mamas in the Mission project 30s: Heather Smith, prose stylist, journalist, cyclist 20s: Ulfur Hansson, rock star, and his experimental harp Teens: to be announced Age 7: Sami Elhaik, Mission scholar
This is a ticketed event with various donation levels from $20-$45. A limited number of spaces will be available at the door on the evening of the show for a pay-what-you-can donation.
