AFFIANCE is an American Metal Band from Cleveland, Ohio. Reigning in the powerful midwest, Affiance combines elements that tear from the sleeve of metal legends with powerful guitar riffs and soaring vocals. Since starting their touring career in 2010, the band has accomplished many North American, European, UK, and an African tour. Most recently, the band wrapped up a full US tour with Protest The Hero, their first International Headliner in South Africa, and has been working diligently on their newest release "Blackout" set to debut September 23, 2014.
AFFIANCE's most recent releases include the first single from "Blackout" titled "Limitless." Watch it now on YouTube! Also, from "The Campaign" there were two music videos released by director Stephen Mlnarcik called "The Cynic" and "Kings Of Deceit". Singer Dennis Tvrdik commented, "We are still a relatively small band in a very big metal world and we hope to change that with this album. It's a bit darker than our previous albums. I really think the time for melodic and heavy to make its presence know in American metal culture is here and I am proud to be a part of that."
The latest AFFIANCE album "The Campaign" has had a successful album cycle! Some great sales numbers have charted them at #7 Heatseekers, #7 Top New Artist, #37 Top Hard Albums, and #53 Top Indie Albums. Singer Dennis Tvrdik commented, "We are absolutely stoked that we charted on Billboard! Our fans are insanely supportive and believe in us not only as a band but as people. Thank you to everyone who bought The Campaign. We are forever grateful!"
Brett Wondrak commented on the new album (Produced by Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio who has recently finished records for August Burns Red, Texas In July, and Sirens & Sailors), "Blackout is another step forward for us. We wrote this album to give our fans everything they expect from us and more. All the catchy guitar licks, crushing breakdowns, shredding solos, and memorable high notes that Dennis is so well known for. These are some of the best songs we've ever written. This has been a great year for metal. "Blackout" will be no exception."
AFFIANCE have recently wrapped up North American and European tours with Killswitch Engage, Protest The Hero, The Word Alive, Memphis May Fire, Darkest Hour, Dance Gavin Dance, Miss May I, The Color Morale, and Stray From The Path.
