"The end is the beginning, and yet you go on..."
An audience waits. A man prepares. Finally, hopefully, necessarily, the day has arrived and an invitation is made to witness the end. Clov has been working towards this moment for what seems like an eternity. Forever ago, he arrived to say goodbye, and instead, he has been saying hello ever since. Over time, Clov has tirelessly and meticulously created the perfect world in which the indefatigable Hamm might allow himself to let go. He hopes. Thus begins a new envisioning of a seminal work of absurdist theatre, which sheds new light on the complex meditation on family and death in a fashion only the RBP can do...
