About Dr.Sketchy's:
Created by Molly Crabapple in 2005, Dr. Sketchy's has been the name in alternative drawing. From illegal flashmobs to the Museum of Modern Art, Dr. Sketchy's has brought artists a rule-breaking cocktail of dames, drinking and drawing. Dr. Sketchy's branches draw in over a hundred cities around the globe, from Akron to Zagreb. Whether you're an artstar or a scribbling newbie, Dr. Sketchy's is the perfect place to get your fill of life-drawing!
About Lula Houp-Garou:
Lula Houp-Garou is an award-winning, hula hooping, burlesque sensation!
Fusing the elements of circus skill, showgirl spectacle, and vaudeville ingenuity, Lula Houp-Garou has been charming audiences far and wide with her signature style of variety burlesque since 2008. An ingenue with ingenuity, Lula is known not only for her considerable talents with a hula hoop, but also for her innovative concepts, over-the-top theatricality, opulent costumes and whimsical props.
She was honored to be chosen to perform in the Movers, Shakers and Innovators Showcase at the 2012 Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas. Other notoble performances include: Headliner at the first annual Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival (2013) and Featured Performer at the 2011 Dallas Burlesque Festival. She was awarded the titles of "Best Novelty/Vaudeville Act" at the 2011 Texas Burlesque Festival, and "Most Comedic", "Edgiest" and "Best Variety" at the 2011 Southern Exposure Pageant.
Dr. Sketchy's Oklahoma City is run by Adèle Wolf and happens every 2nd Saturday at the fabulous DC on Film Row. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door!
