Musical Theatre Southwest presents 'Orpheus'
An education outreach project
and the premiere of New Mexican composer Aaron Fields.

Delight in the classic Greek myth Orpheus with musical twists performed by Musical Theater Southwest on September 5th & 6th at 8pm. This fun, lighthearted rendition of the epic tale uses original music to tell the myth of Orpheus.
Orpheus, a gifted musician, must venture down into the Underworld to rescue Eurydice, his bride-to-be, from death. On his journey, he battles powerful demons and supernatural forces. This exhilarating show features a big band swing for Aphrodite, a mambo salsa for the Devil, a tango for Hera, and a wide variety of other musical styles.
