Artifact Dance Project is proud to present our third annual event titled, "Wearhouse;" a collaborative performance, lecture/demonstration and clothing sale. Our new downtown space will be transformed from a dance studio into a pop-up club and boutique. The event kicks off Friday night with a concert social, where people can enjoy a first look at all the fashionable goods along with spirits and hors d'oeuvres. Lectures and demonstrations inspired by fashion will be given by Charlette Padilla discussing sustainability and current trends. The University of Arizona Retailing and Consumer Sciences will be designing the look and feel of the clothing sale plus lending several stylists to help audience members coordinate looks. Around 7:30pm, the Artifact Dance Project professional company will perform to the drum and bass of DJ Sync (aka Steven Martin Siefert) and Jcat (aka Johnny Birkinbine). Their energetic sounds will create a unique atmosphere for several world premieres in dance inspired by fashion. All proceeds benefit Artifact Dance Project, a non-profit organization. The public is then welcome to shop all day Saturday from 10am-5pm with free admission. All items will be half-off from 4pm-5pm.
