2014 Springfield Oyster and Beer Festival
The 5th annual Springfield Oyster and Beer Festival (S.O.B. Fest) will be held at the Inn at 835 in downtown Springfield on September 6th, 2014 from 12-5pm. It will be held rain or shine, because attendees will be covered by the two 100' tents we've secured. Over 25 brands of craft beers will be represented from across the midwest and nationally.
Musical acts Thornhill and The Deep Hollow will keep you moving as you enjoy new and unique fine craft libations. Gourmet oyster dishes as well as three confirmed food trucks will keep your belly happy while your taste buds are entertained by delicious brews.
To date, the SOB Festival has donated over $22,000 to area charities. This year's recipient is Gen H Kids, and you can learn more about them at genhkids.com.
This year is shaping up to be the biggest and best event yet- and with you joining us, it's sure to be a blast!
This year's event also includes a VIP Tent sponsored by GFS. VIPs will get: sampling glass, 5 tasting tickets, food provided by GFS and prepared by the Inn at 835's Executive Chef, access to indoor air-conditioned restrooms, and access to very special, limited edition brews not available at the regular tent!
