New York New Works Theatre Festival
The NYNW Theatre Festival is located in the world's premier theater district at the , Times Square Arts Center, and is a short play competition where the audience casts their votes to select the best play of the season.
Plays move from the 1st Round to the Semi-Finals and then the Finals and there will be a separate category for 1 person shows in the first round. The playwright of the winning play for the festival will receives $500.00 and the
opportunity to have their piece aired on Ă local media outlet (contingent upon abiding rules of festival).
The NYNW Theatre Festival will be held at The Times Square Arts Center, 300 W 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036.
The First round of the NYNW Festival shows will be presented August 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th and Sept. 2nd The Semi- Final rounds will be September 3rd and 4th and the Finals will be held Sept 9th.
