The New 202! Burlesque 202 Fall Workshop 2014
**ALL NEW** BURLESQUE 202!
Burlesque 202 has been expanded from a four-week to a six-week workshop including four intensive classes and six additional offerings to elevate performance skill and depth. It has been reformatted to better meet the needs of Seattle's next level of burgeoning talent.
In this Intermediate-level workshop, students will come to class with two strong act concepts including music, storyline, and costume ideas. These acts will be fully realized during the course, and demonstrated to the public at a final showing. Students are permitted to bring existing completed acts that they'd like to revise, and/or new act concepts.
For those who have taken 101, it's like starting in Week 3 - but with TWO ACTS being worked on simultaneously. The intensive schedule and feedback between peers pushes students to generate high volumes of content while being brave about keeping what works, and jettisoning what doesn't. The four intensive mentored courses allow students to go deep and work in a safe, continuous environment under Elsa Von Schmaltz to develop their repertoire and performance skills to a new level.
Meanwhile, students are exposed to a fantastic variety of high-level working performer-teachers who offer their tips and tricks of the trade. From enhancing the performer bio to improving stage makeup, this year's list of Skills classes provides exactly the value the hard-working performer needs.
This workshop is open to active performers who have already taken BQ101 or have performed regularly for 1 year. CLASS IS LIMITED TO SIX STUDENTS.

Course includes:
*Four 3-hour intensive classes facilitated by award-winning instructor Elsa Von Schmaltz; *Admission to Six (6) Intermediate-Advanced Skills classes with Sailor St. Claire, Kitty Baby, Fuchsia Foxx, Waxie Moon, and Ruby Mimosa (listed below);
*Vision-Setting with Headmistress Indigo Blue
*Fully staffed Student Recital in West Hall, Oddfellows Building on November 22.
Full tuition $499 includes all classes & final showing.
Advance registration $449 if deposit paid by September 15.
Mandatory group classes on four Mondays 7-10pm, Oct 20, Oct 27, Nov 10, Nov 17.
Non-refundable $100 deposit required, goes towards total tuition.
