The Cabrillo Alumni one night only benefit concert in NYC!

In order to keep the southern California non-profit theatre company Cabrillo Music Theatre going, they must raise $250,000 by August. Join the Cabrillo Alumni for this one night only benefit.

Cabrillo has employed/launched many successful careers such as Katherine McPhee (Smash), Adam Lambert (American Idol), Stephanie J Block (The Boy from Oz, Wicked, 9 to 5), Lesli Margherita (Matilda), Melissa Mitchell (Les Miserable), Derek Klena (Dogfight, Wicked, Bridge of Madison County), Cassie Silva (Rock of Ages), Ashley Moniz (Sister Act), Catherine Ricafort (Mamma Mia, Cinderella), and MANY more.

Cabrillo Music Theatre is an Ovation Award Winner and the Resident Musical Production Company at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, the largest theatre between Los Angeles and San Francisco. For over three decades, Cabrillo has enriched life in Southern California, providing extraordinary performing arts through live musical theatre. Cabrillo is a volunteer based non-profit theatre company presenting award-winning musicals with full, live orchestras, lavish sets and costumes, and premier talent.

Like all non-profit arts organizations in the country, Cabrillo Music Theatre is financially fueled by two sources of income: ticket sales and fundraising, including donations, sponsorships, and grants. Their ticket sales have met or exceeded budget expectations, but fundraising has not. So the Board of Directors launched a campaign to keep Cabrillo Music Theatre going into the 2014-2015 season and beyond.
