Return to Sacramento

It has been three months since the last Tree House dinner. In the spring I hosted what I had assumed would be the last dinner for quite some time. Following that spring dinner I moved to San Francisco to work at the restaurant Saison. Although it was my dream to work at an internationally recognized restaurant, I came to the realization that the city of San Francisco is not my home. I acquired an immeasurable amount of knowledge in the Michelin starred kitchens of Coi and Saison, but I also learned how much I truly love Sacramento. I found myself coming home on the weekends to ride my bike along the delta, visit the markets, or forage in the foothills in which I was raised, all the while becoming immensely inspired by the places I call home.
Although there are plans on the horizon that are larger than Tree House, I'm longing to use Sacramento's outstanding Summer offerings in a very special pop up dinner. I'll be presenting a tasting menu at a location on the grid on Monday, August 18th and also on Monday, August 25th. Arrival is set at seven pm and dinner will commence once everyone has had time to mingle and find their seat.
