HOPE'S JOURNEY: A musical meeting of the spirits paying homage to the ethnic diversity of our neighbors around the globe and our shared dreams of living in peace and harmony
Live Concert Performance by "Orchestre Sublime" featuring world renowned musicians fluent in the genres of latin, middle eastern, jazz, and funk, united in the cause of perpetrating musical mischief and joy thru rhythm, harmony and melody. Orchestre Sublime will be performing music by bassist/composer June Jacobs...his compositions can best be described as a musical, cinematic journey rich with sonic textures and vistas combined with hip shakin' foot stompin' grooviness.
The lovely and talented vocalist instrumentalist dancer, Leslie Yapor will join Andre Hayward (Lincoln Center Jazz Orch, Duke Ellington Orch)..saxophonist Mike Hamilton (James Brown, Ne-Yo, Jonathan Butler) percussionist Marcie Chapa (Beyonce), poet instrumentalist Nancy Green, guitarist Adrian Esparza, keyboardist Allan Rodriguez, drummers Eric Boseman and Ricky Malachi, percussionists Al Pagliuso and Francisco Ortega, trumpeter Marko Polo, vibraphonist Colin McAllister and June Jacobs, alias "the gatekeeper" for this wonderous event.
