Paradise Park Zoo
Der Vorfuhreffekt Theatre presents Paradise Park Zoo.
A new play by Savannah Reich.
Directed by Donna Oblongata.
At Paradise Park Zoo, a komodo dragon tries to teach a red panda about self-acceptance. Two chimpanzees try to find domestic bliss inside of their 8' x 8' cage. The lionesses gossip and imagine a paradise filled with attractive strangers. And two caged humans decide to trade in their toy dinosaurs and curling irons for a taste of living wildly. Inevitably, a meeting is called, and the process of reaching consensus ensues-- accompanied by a live band, an outdoor carnival of homemade games, and the (life-sized) elephant in the room.
