As You Like It and Theatre Day
This contemporary take on Shakespeare's classic follows its heroine Rosalind (Kaleigh-Brooke Dillingham) as she flees persecution in her aunt, Duchess Frederica's (Schrese Holloway) court, accompanied by her cousin Celia (Myka Lipscomb) to find safety and family. As fate would have it Orlando (Sean Davis), the love of her life, as well must escape the city to avoid his savage brother Oliver (David Bryant). Low and behold they both end up in the forest of Arden, and both in the vicinity of Rosalind's exiled and usurped mother, Duchess Senior (Schrese Holloway). Come see what happens as Rosalind and Celia leave all that they have known for the forest, where lovers and even family reunite.
