Red House Live from Landmark Center- Claudia Schmidt

Claudia Schmidt is a powerful vocalist and adventurous artist who combines lively folk, jazz and blues with rich poetry and playful humor.Hailing from Michigan, she knew at a young age that she was destined to be a singer and was a frequent guest on the early days of A Prairie Home Companion. Forty years and 16 albums later, Schmidt continues to perform on the road to her loyal legions of fans across the country. Mixing folk, jazz, traditional ballads and breathtaking originals, there's not a style she can't master. Schmidt's incredible four-octave voice and charismatic stage presence make her a marvel in concert. She returned to Red House Records with a new studio release in March 2014, New Whirled Order. With an infectious energy and joy, she continues to delight audiences with her spectacular vocals and instrumental prowess. Schmidt is currently at work on a musical based on the final flight of Amelia Earhart as well as a book of poetry.
Landmark Center and Red House Records' popular concert series "Red House Live from Landmark Center" returns for a fourth year in the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at St. Paul's historic Landmark Center. Hosted by various local radio personalities, these concerts will begin at 8 pm and will be preceded by a cocktail hour at 7 pm, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. Tickets are $18 in advance and include admission to the cocktail hour.
All ticket sales are final. Seating will be assigned by Minnesota Landmarks in the order that orders are received. All tickets will be held at will-call for pick up the day of the performance. Will call will be available at 7 pm. If you have any special seating needs or special requests, please call 651.292.3063 within 48 hours of your purchase and we will do our best to accommodate them.
