Salad Bowl 2014
The Salad Bowl is THE big fund-raising event at Pottery Northwest that we do annually to support a wide variety of events throughout the year like our resident artist's shows and curated exhibitions that are free and open to the public. This year, we'll also be supporting our Artists in Residency program by raising money to cover studio fees for our artists in residence as well as some of their special project expenses.
Each ticket allows you to choose from 300 bowls handmade and painted by Pottery Northwest resident artists and fill it with delectable bounty. The Salad Bowl ticket also includes the opportunity to bid on and win unique artwork from the silent auction (an intentionally small and exquisite grouping), or chat with the artists-in-residence in their gallery and work spaces.
The live auction will feature a special collection of grand platters by noted Pacific Northwest artists.
The Salad Bowl in a nutshell:
300 handmade and painted bowls to choose from, Scrumptious edibles, Silent auction of exquisite artwork, Live auction of incredible ceramic art works, an opportunity to bid on a party for 30 on a 75' yacht, and more, Akio Takamori will be honored for his major contributions to the arts, and Door prize: $250 PNW credit applicable towards class fees, gallery purchases, private events,
