Between the Lines: Doing Ethics in Healthcare Today
Speaker: Rosemary Flanigan, CSJ
From the beginning of the bioethics movement in the 1960's and 70's, the place of religion has been complex and controversial. Yet the early practitioners of bioethics included theologians and others who found the questions of bioethics impinging on their own disciplines. Learn what it means to have a "religious consciousness" and how it affects our thinking as we deal with life and death issues.
Doors open at 8:30am Program 9-11am $15.00 per person, breakfast included
