Libate with fellow beer lovers as we unite for a one day of celebration of craft beers!
The Festival will feature live music, food from local restaurants, artisan vendors, and specialty craft beer from West Virginia breweries and craft breweries across the US and from around the world.
Breweries that will be represented include: Blue Mountain Bridge Brew Works Chestnut Brew Works Charleston Brewing Company Morgantown Brewing Company Lost River Brewing Company Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company North End Tavern Mountain State Brewing Company Brouwerij Van Steenberge Brouwerij Bavik Great Lakes Weihenstephan Southern Tier Rogue Sierra Nevada Harpoon Shipyard Breckenridge Goose Island Widmer Brothers Several other craft breweries are pursuing licenses to distribute in West Virginia and plan to participate in the Festival if they complete the permitting process in time. The event has been expanded this year to make it even bigger and better than last year's inaugural event.
The 2014 Rails & Ales Festival will feature:
Samples of over 100 different craft and import beers, including many of West Virginia's breweries.
The opportunity to sample several craft beers brewed exclusively for the festival by West Virginia's microbreweries, and available only at the Rails & Ales Festival.
The works of up to 15 local artisans.
Food from area restaurants.
Live acoustic music all day.
The event will open at 12:00 p.m. for guests with a VIP ticket and 1:00 p.m. for other guests. The Festival will close at 5:00 p.m.
