Butcher Paper Dinner: BrisketTown presents ROOFTOP RIBFEST!
RIBFEST! Rack 'em up, line the tables, it's Brooklyn Grange and Edible Queens' final Butcher Paper Dinner of 2014 and we've got a barbecue legend on our hands!

We're all about veggies on our farm, but when someone talks about BBQ so good you could call it "meat candy," we're hooked.  Dan Delaney of BrisketTown in Williamsburg has come as close to perfecting the art of the smoker as any man can.  His preoccupation with BBQ has served us all well as, over the years, he's traveled through the homelands of this southern cuisine and brought back to New York City (literally) the smokers and techniques of Texas barbecue.

He does barbecue right and we're jazzed to load our table with racks of ribs and southern sides, sip on brews from Queens Brewery and wines from Fox Run Vineyards, and listen to the sweet soulful tunes of DJ Neal Sugarman of Daptone Records.

Forget the forks, clear your afternoon, and come fill your bellies and souls with good food and good company. Send off the 2014 season of Butcher Paper Dinners with us at RIBFEST!

ABOUT BUTCHER PAPER DINNERS:
This series of fun, inventive dinner parties to be held spring through fall at Brooklyn Grange's flagship rooftop will center around the farm's massive, reclaimed white oak communal table down the length of which organizers will roll butcher paper.  A rotating lineup of the city's most innovative chefs will bring their unique culinary stylings to play with the farm's fresh, seasonal produce, serving family-style meals directly atop the paper-lined table.  This style of hands-on dining allows guests to really engage with their food, and their neighboring diners around them. Participating chefs will hail from all over the New York City area but will draw their inspiration from the eclectic diversity and bold flavors of Queens' signature culinary culture.

ABOUT EDIBLE QUEENS:
Edible Queens is the premier food magazine in Queens focusing on the culinary resources and food scenes of New York City's most diverse borough. Published quarterly and enjoyed in print and online by over 100,000 readers per issue, Edible Queens is part of Edible Communities, a North American franchise with 81 titles covering the specific regions in which they are located.
