BREASTS OF LEGEND
More than just doctored photographs of the Loch Ness Monster, drunken stories of the Mothman, and faked footprints of Bigfoot (Bigfeet?), cryptozoology is the chase after animals of dubious repute by wide eyed fanatics who dare all for the barest of glimpses. For our next endeavor, the cast of Excelsior Burlesque delves into the steamiest of swamps, scales the barest of cliffs, and plumbs the deepest, dampest caves to bring you acts of such legend and magnitude they can barely be contained by our stage.
On May 12th, Jo Boobs bring her full weight to the stage - leveling some things and erecting others. Trixie Little's siren song will entice you closer, only to be caught in the wonderful and terrifying clutches of Fem Appeal. Tiger Bay has two very impressive attributes, right down below her ankles. Taylor Swift crosses the Hudson to illuminate us on just what's running around in those pine barrens, and Ruby Solitaire wants to burn the world down! Featuring gogo by "hoppy go lucky" Kita St. Cyr - this evening's line up with make you believe the legendary is real!
At the Parkside Lounge at 317 E. Houston Street, we tour the globe to bring you the most mysterious of beasts, from Japanese Kaiju to New Jersey nightmares, to monsters that fly and swim through the fables of continents and grace the silver screen . . .
