Bodywork & Dessert Party
Come join us at Bay Acro in Japantown for a super chill night of therapeutic flying and massage/bodywork exchange
~THAI MASSAGE & FLYING CLASSES~
At 5pm, start the night off with an all-levels Acroyoga class taught by Natalie Weinstein. This class will have a therapeutic focus and options for everyone, including those who are brand new to the practice to advanced acroyogis. For more info on classes visit www.bayacro.com
At 7pm, enjoy being led through a blissful thai massage class. Be prepared to give, receive, breath, relax, smile, and connect with your community. Feel free to bring essential oils or lotions. Come with a partner or meet a new friend at the party!
~MUSIC, SOUND HEALING & PERFORMANCE~
At 8pm I am excited to announce Joey Chang aka CelloJoe, will be playing for us, he is an anomaly in the world of cellists. By combining cello with beatboxing, he has created a unique genre: Classical Hip Hop.
CelloJoe records live on stage with a loop pedal and produces intricate tapestries of harmony, melody, and rhythm. His beatboxing (vocal percussion) and funky cello grooves form a rich soundscape for intelligent lyrics and his music spreads love, joy, laughter and conscious vibrations. By beatboxing, throatsinging, singing, plucking and bowing the cello, CelloJoe can mimic many styles of music from dubstep to folk to rock to classical to hip hop.
CelloJoe is the world's first long distance musical bike touring cellist. He has ridden his bike over 10,000 miles in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia.

At 9pm, Jacob Marshall will be treating us with an eclectic blend of ambient electronica music accompanied by acoustic guitar drums and Resonant Frequency Instruments ie (tuned to the waveforms/ vibrations of nature). He will also be providing free one on one sound healing treatments!
As well as welcoming and facilitating, the creative, fun, free flow expression of music, acroyoga, massage, collaboration and improvisation.
