Live Leadership Storytelling Training in Berkeley: Navigate by Your Stories
Once, we navigated by the stars and now we navigate with our stories. It's the act of making sense of these stories sharing them in a clear compelling way that helps us move through great challenges, calling our network into action, and bringing our visions to reality.
"Story," however, is also a buzzword that can throw you off course. What are stories, actually? How do they work? How can they be well aimed and well remembered? How can they unify our many communications and media efforts? How do they drive action, individually and collectively?
These questions are at the core of the Wakingstar Story System workshop, led by Jay Golden, storyteller, story consultant, co-founder of Wakingstar (www.wakingstar.com), and director of the popular story show Journeys (www.wakingstar.com/journeys). This highly interactive four-part workshop will help you make use of the stories all around you to achieve your goals, both personal and professional. As the sessions progress, you will deepen your understanding of storytelling, practice your story-shaping, build your leadership skills, and develop your retellable stories for use in presentations, speeches, and various forms of social media.
