Northeast Pennsylvania Trails Symposium
On Monday, May 5th Lackawanna Heritage Valley National and State Heritage Area, the Pennsylvania Environmental Council/Pocono Forest and Waters Conservation Landscape, and the Anthracite Scenic Trails Association will hold a day-long trails symposium at the offices of Lackawanna Heritage Valley (213 South 7th Avenue, Scranton, PA).  

The Symposium, as in past years, will provide Northeastern Pennsylvania trail sponsors and supporters a networking venue where they can share opportunities, challenges and solutions in an informal setting. The event will have several speakers of regional stature who will present information on the current state of trails in Pennsylvania.  In addition regional and local trail sponsors will update the group on the progress of their respective trails. Attendees will be given ample opportunities for networking with colleagues.

Pre-registration is required but there is no charge for trail groups. Sign-in and breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m.  The symposium will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.  Lunch will be provided.
