SHOWTIME 2014 OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT!!!

On Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 AADAP will be celebrating 42 years of service at the 21st Annual Benefit Concert- "Showtime 2014" at the historic David Henry Hwang Theatre in Little Tokyo. Showtime will feature live musical performances by JAZMIN SISTERS and MEG DELACY as well as stand-up routines from comedians KERMET APIO and CARY TOBABEN. Showtime 2014 promises to be an exciting and exclusive event, providing attendees with an intimate experience complete with amazing auction prizes and more- all in support of a worthwhile cause.
The evening program will include:
6:00PM- Silent Auction + Fishbowl Raffle Preview featuring dozens of activity packages, tickets, art, jewelry, sporting events and much more!
7:00PM- Concert Program celebrating AADAP's 42nd anniversary and featuring live performances by JAZMIN Sisters, Meg Delacy, Kermet Apio, and Cary Tobaben
9:00PM- Dessert Reception with complimentary dessert bar and opportunities to meet-n-greet with the performers

NADIA, FELICIA, CELIA AND DARIA ARE FOUR CHINESE-AMERICAN SISTERS FROM LOS ANGELES, CA THAT MAKE UP THE JAZMIN SISTERS. THE NAME WAS INSPIRED BY THE SISTERS' JAZZ INFLUENCE AND THE ASIAN JASMINE FLOWER, WHICH SYMBOLIZES HAPPINESS.
RAISED AS DAUGHTERS OF A PREACHER AND A PIANO TEACHER IN A STRICT HOUSEHOLD THAT ONLY ALLOWED MOTOWN, OLDIES AND THE LIKE, SISTERS NADIA, FELICIA, CELIA AND DARIA BANDED TOGETHER FROM A YOUNG AGE TO SING AND DANCE. EACH SISTER BRINGS SOMETHING UNIQUE TO THE GROUP, BUT THEIR VOICES BLEND EFFORTLESSLY INTO THE LUSH HARMONIES THEIR FANS HAVE COME TO LOVE.
THE SISTERS GAINED NATIONWIDE EXPOSURE APPEARING ON MTV'S TOP POP GROUP AND BECAME FINALISTS ON THE PREMIERE SEASON OF THE SERIES. IN ADDITION, THE GIRLS WERE CHOSEN BY NBC AS A FINALIST ON AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. THEY WERE ALSO ON NBC'S STAR TOMORROW MUSIC COMPETITION LED BY LEGENDARY MUSIC PRODUCER DAVID FOSTER.
CURRENTLY, THE SISTERS HAVE PARTNERED UP WITH GRAMMY AWARD WINNING PRODUCERS, MIDI MAFIA ON THEIR DEBUT EP 90'S BABY, WHICH RE-INTERPRETS THE SISTERS' FAVORITE R&B JAMS AND HIP-HOP CLASSICS. POSITIONED TO BREAK NEW GROUND IN THE WORLD OF POPULAR MUSIC, THE JAZMIN SISTERS ENTER THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY FOCUSED, DRIVEN AND READY.

Meg Delacy~ 17 year old singer, songwriter, and actress. Meg DeLacy is currently starring in a webisode musical dramedy with AwesomenessTV called "Side Effects"
Kermet Apio~ Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kermet Apio enjoyed a childhood in paradise. He spent his time watching television, playing, and procrastinating everything else. To this day, he still does all three extensively.
After graduating from high school, Kermet moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. Seattle became home. In early 1989, Kermet did his first open mike night at the Comedy Underground in Seattle. Comedy was a fun hobby. In May of 1990, he quit his job, said good bye to health care and benefits, and took the leap to performing full time. It is still his only job skill.
He was the winner of the 2009 Great American Comedy Festival and has had numerous appearances on television and radio. He has showcased at comedy festivals in Aspen, Las Vegas, and Vancouver and has performed in 47 states and 3 Canadian provinces. He is a past winner of the Seattle Comedy Competition and was a semi-finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition. Also, in 1988 he was Dishwasher of the Month at the Sea-Tac Airport Denny's.
Kermet is married and the proud father of two wonderful children. He enjoys his family, baseball, and pie. He does not enjoy opera, sitting in traffic, and writing about himself in the third person.
Cary Tobaben~ A native Californian, Cary Tobaben got into the comedy scene in the mid 90's and has performed all over the country at various comedy clubs and corporate events. Cary has been seen on Comedy Central and appeals to a diverse audience with his numerous impressions and his personal take on what it was like always being the tallest kid in class.
