Ralph Shaw's Melody Licks for Ukulele Strummers - Workshop and Concert
Workshop Description:
Introduce melody into your ukulele playing. Learn some
easy-to-understand concepts that will lift your
playing to a new level. By listening to famous
versions of songs we already know we can start
to add melody into our music, eventually
creating our own chord solos.
Students learn how to create their own
arrangements by paying attention to the various
melodic elements that songs contain.
This workshop covers abilities from experienced
beginner to advanced intermediate making it
suitable for groups of varying ability.
A short concert after the workshop will
showcase the skills we just learned.
