Support the start of a new business and network with other co-founders, VCs, and players in the local economic development community.
HARLEM DEMO DAY will offer Northern Manhattan and Bronx based entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their unique business ideas before an esteemed panel of judges in consideration for a series of prizes including cash grants, free packages to work out of HarlemGarage, in-kind services from local business partners, and more.
Hosted by Harlem Garage, Silicon Harlem and the Uptown-Harlem Co-Working Group and Co-sponsored by Spring Bank, TTW Consulting and Pixel Prose Media, the primary goal of the event is to highlight the best and brightest start-ups north of 96th Street and connect them with quality resources to support their growth and development.

The pitch event is open to the General Public. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds go to cash grant for winning startup idea.
RULES to Pitch:
=== At least one co-founder must reside or work above 96th St (Manhattan or Bronx), be a member of HarlemGarage, or have registered and attended any of IncubateNYC's classes
=== Applicants must submit a one-sheeter outlining the concept, co-founders, and relevant background information plus a 5-slide Powerpoint presentation outlining their concept. A finished product or business (up to two years in operation) is best, but we are accepting submissions in the "idea" phase, so long as there are wireframes and/or a workable presentation.
