It's been a year since the last JAM show and we at seattleHARDCORE know that everyone needs more JAM in their lives.
With that in mind, and because 4 of us have birthdays in April and May, we're going to be throwing the birthday party to end all birthday parties. Best part? You're all invited!
As with all JAM shows, this will be a limited capacity event and we have a few secret headliners (one who is coming from across the pond) coming to celebrate with us.

Jon Sharkey is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable names in the Hardcore scene. The legendary jack of all trades has tried his hand at everything; starting in the early days of rave in '93 as an MC at the Rhythm Station for DJ Druid where he won countless awards for MC of the year, then moving on to production and DJing, co-producing 'Toytown' one of the biggest anthems of the era on Essential Platinum and has developed many of new talented producers of Hardcore and Freeform of today. K Complex, AMS and Arkitech to name just a few have evolved through Sharkey's studio and mentorship. His focus on guiding the talented bright lights and tirelessly harnessing the raw talent of upcoming production engineers in Hardcore came because he considers it to be one of the most important aspects of his job as without the future generation, there will be no future hardcore!
All things Freeformation have come from his twisted mind and is the source of all his power right now. His bollox to the superstar DJ party ethic has taken the forefront in his working life with hours toiling away devising characters like Luke Pie Maker, Princess Lay-Me and the N.E.C. nativity! The Freeformation party concept was spawned originally as a resident's party but has transformed into an anything goes event to show club land that Hardcore has many facets and you don't have to take it too seriously; it is all about the party.
Sharkey is no stranger to compilations being one of the founder DJs of the award winning Bonkers compilation series and now one of the main DJs on the Freeformation album. After his success with 'Toytown' James Horrocks, Resist's front man, was keen to sign both Sharkey and Hixxy to mix the first Bonkers compilation. Jon also went on to mix on Bonkers 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 and Best Of Bonkers. The Bonkers compilations are the biggest Hardcore compilation album of all time and have gained gold and silver sales awards in the UK.
From Hardcore to Hard Trance and many different types of oldskool ranging from Breakbeat, Hard House to Hardcore Techno and Gabba you'll hear a bit of everything. The success of Sharkey's DJing career has been due to this diversity and knack for always standing out loud and proud from the every day trends that get rinsed. Sharkey is a true pioneer in his field and a full on party mover. You can be sure that the name on a flyer is enough to generate hype, but when Sharkz steps up and takes control it's time for the rest to step back. Storming through the UK he has played at well known events including Glastonbury and Glade, Sharkey has also played at events all over the world including Enchanted Festival Australia, Nocturnal Wonderland USA, Canada and Japan.

This duo have been rocking crowds all over the United States together for over 5 years. Squiggles is known for his fast paced, quick mixing upfront tune selection and Obliquity for his rapid fire delivery on the golden microphone. Together they work the crowd into a frenzy full of sing a longs and fist pumps. Every set is a memorable one, so get ready for the hardcore rush, Squiggles and Obliquity are about to touch down!
-DUMMY- Seattle Hardcore | Harder Faster Louder Freeform | Drum & Bass http://soundcloud.com/dummy http://facebook.com/dummyhardcore Dummy, one of Seattle's original hardcore DJs is here to bring freeform to the hardcore massive. Always known for his love of the darker and harder UK hardcore, Dummy has been a staple of the US rave scene for over 15 years. With residencies at some of Seattle's most historic rave venues, appearances at the biggest festivals on the west coast such as Nocturnal Wonderland, and sets at WEMF and the UK's Freeformation, he's rocked crowds around the globe. Along with production cohort and long time friend Ian K, Dummy has helped to create the popularity of hardcore in the Seattle rave scene and has cemented his place as a part of the northwest hardcore elite. Known for a "take no prisoners" attitude and sky-high energy, you're always in for a show. From the driving power of freeform and hardcore to drum & bass and drumstep, this skilled turntable technician is anything but sane. Dummy sets will turn you inside out and leave you begging for more. As one of the original west coast hardcore mentalists, you're in for a workout with him behind the decks. Be prepared to stomp, dance, and bounce the night away to the Dummy sound.
-IAN K- Seattle Hardcore | Harder Faster Louder UK Hardcore | Drum & Bass http://soundcloud.com/iank http://facebook.com/iankhardcore A longtime fixture in the Seattle rave community, Ian K is dedicated to bringing the sounds of hardcore to the masses. He first took the stage under the name MC Verbal, quickly building a reputation for his energetic performances with appearances with headliners like Hixxy, Force and Styles, Kevin Energy and Scott Brown. Soon he found himself focusing more and more on production, building up his studio (The LAB). After building up a collection of original tracks, he began to play out under the "Ian K." moniker, focusing on DJ'ing and his Live PA.
Ian's growth as an artist continued into 2009, when he was invited to perform at Hardcore Till I Die in the Sun, in Lloret De Mar, Spain. This weeklong event focused on Hardcore and Hard Dance every night and featured top talent such as Hixxy, Chris Unknown, Gammer and Re-Con. Finishing out the year with appearances at Earthdance 2009 in Phoenix, AZ and appearing weekly in his hometown of Seattle, WA, Ian K always does his best to bring energetic, uplifiting and driving beats to the ravers!
-JIMNI CRICKET- Seattle Hardcore | Knite Force Hardcore | Jungle | MashUp http://soundcloud.com/jimnicricket Seattle native Jimni Cricket has been djing since 1999. Focusing her mixing on Happy Hardcore, constantly learning new tricks and challenging herself, she is well known across the nation for her quick mixing and crowd pleasing. She will often throw over 40 tracks effortlessly in an hour set. On her quest to leave no city untouched, she has headlined in almost every US state and has ventured into Canada. With her unique style, scratching abilities, and adorable personality, the bug makes friends and fans at every single show. A fact that an army of kandi ravers across North America can attest to.
DOUGHBOY Seattle Hardcore | Justice Hardcore UK Hardcore http://soundcloud.com/djdoughboy http://facebook.com/djdoughboy206 For over thirteen years, Doughboy has been spreading his passion for hardcore. With his focus on getting the crowd moving, you can usually expect an anthem or two, mixed in with some classics you love, upfront material just released, and unreleased tracks you will soon know. Doughboy, one of Seattle's most known hardcore dj's, cooks things up and leaves people both satisfied and hungry for the next track. He's ready to dish up a set to keep people savoring the music. Doughboy's sets are not one to miss.
