West Virginia Championship Wrestling's Miracle on the Mountain 4 in Bluefield, WV.
WVCW's Miracle on the Mountain 4 in Bluefield, WV will be Saturday night May 31st at the Auditorium on Stadium Drive.


This years event features Chavo Guerrero Jr. a third generation Mexican-American professional wrestler and member of the famed Guerrero wrestling family, best known for working with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He has held a dozen total championships. As a singles wrestler, he is a one-time World Champion having held the ECW Championship, and a six-time WCW/WWE Cruiserweight Champion. He has also achieved notable success in tag team wrestling, being a five-time World Tag Team Champion.


Other featured guests are the Rock 'n' Roll Express, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson. The duo began teaming together in Memphis in the early 1980s and they have held the NWA World Tag Team Championship four times. In the 1990s, the team reformed in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, where they held the SMW Tag Team Championship ten times. The duo also worked in the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling.


Also featured guest Steve Corino, who works for Ring of Honor (ROH) and the Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling Zero1 will be competing. Corino is an eleventh-time World Heavyweight Champion, having held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship once, the ECW World Heavyweight Championship once, WSL World Heavyweight Championship twice, GSW World Heavyweight Championship twice, the HRPW World Heavyweight Championship once, the MLW World Heavyweight Championship once, the 1PW World Heavyweight Championship once, and the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship twice.

Prior to the opening bell, earlier in the afternoon, Steve Corino will conduct an elite professional wrestling seminar, truly a once in a lifetime experience. A three hour sit down seminar, that has been held in 5 different countries. All attendees receive an 11 page booklet to keep. This special event is open to the public as well as wrestlers. It is geared to give insight as to why we do what we do, statistics, terms that people misuse, marketing, and etiquette. This event is $30 per person and requires any ticket to the event later that night to be eligible to attend this seminar.

"The Man Scout" Jake Manning is one of the hottest young superstars in professional wrestling today. He is in high demand from coast to coast. He brings his unique style and fantastic athleticism to Bluefield for the first time ever. Fans in attendance will not be disappointed to see the future of professional wrestling in action live.

Freight Train is the greatest internet sensation since Google. The $5 Wrestling Heavyweight champion and has created a cult following that is second to none and like no other. He is in high demand by fans and wrestling companies alike. One of the most unique independent wrestling superstars in the world today Freight Train will "CHOO CHOO" his way to Bluefield with his eyes set on the Children's Miracle Network Cup Battle Royal.


Other featured scheduled contests that night are; WVCW Champion Frank Parker whom will defend the Heavyweight Championship against the Mighty Hojo, the Jr. Heavyweight Championship will be defended by Daniel Halen against multiple challengers, the annual WVU Kids Children's Miracle Network Cup Battle Royal, and a dog collar match between Benny Conley & Mad Dog David Lynch.

Also scheduled to appear are the WVCW Tag Team Champions Roger Hamm & Rip Manson (the Universal Heartthrobs), the WVCW Television Champion Baron Bullard, William Lavell & The Network, J.C. Dykes Jr., Curt Taylor, Chris Keffer, Byson, Jack Miller, Scotty Blaze, Danny Romero, Scotty McKeever, Nikki Static, Jayke Jacobs, Scott Raines, Shawn Cruz, The Rebel, Jumbo Kwan, Bubba Brown, The Intimidator, Stephen Michaels, The Gladiator, Johnny Smooth, The Russian Invader, and general manager Joey Morton.

The meet and greet will begin at approximately 5:15 for those with ringside seating (the first four rows). Live music will be performed and regular admission will occur at 6:30, with the opening contest scheduled for 7:00.

Last year, the event generated over $2,800.00 in proceeds that directly went to the hospital. WVU Children's Hospital, in Morgantown, WV, which provides specialty maternal, infant, and pediatric care for families in West Virginia and the surrounding region. They offer care to high-risk mothers, premature infants, and children with life-threatening conditions through adolescence to adulthood. To date, we have donated almost $8,000.00.


WVU Children's Hospital is located on the 6th floor of Ruby Memorial Hospital. WVU Children's Hospital includes a pediatric and adolescent ward with 28 beds (6 East), a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 19 beds, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 39 beds, and a suite of 29 labor-delivery-post-partum rooms for the mother and infant (Maternal Infant Care Center MICC). An activity room and teen-room facilitate the rehabilitation of our young patients (Child Life Program).


Their physician and staff represent several pediatric specialty areas, including nationally recognized programs for the medical and surgical management of congenital heart disease and pediatric neurosurgery. The special tools they use for diagnosis and treatment reflect recent changes in technology so that our patients have access to the most up-to-date procedures available. Not only patients benefit from their attention  their method of family-centered care makes it possible for the families and loved ones of patients to be a part of the healing process.

Ticket prices vary from $25 meet & greet to $15 general admission balcony seating. Children 5 & under are admitted into balcony seating for free. There are commemorative event posters available for sale (11x17 color glossy for only $5 - good for the meet & greet). Finally, the Pro Wrestling seminar at 1:00 by Steve Corino is an additional $30 per person and an event ticket must be purchased to attend the seminar.

Meet & Greet is scheduled to begin at 5:15 with all others admitted at 6:30.
