Boulder Burlesque: Conscious Burlesque Workshop
Our mission is to explore the depths and intrinsic interplay of human sexuality. During this workshop we will inspire and support the reclamation of ones own personal relationship to their sexuality, sass, and confidence.
You are invited to explore your own sensual nature through the art of dance and creative play. Come learn about the parts of your self you tend to deny, the parts of yourself that are unseen and ignite your creative passion with other women. This is a 4 week series designed for those who have forgotten their own internal fire or simply want to explore it more. We will use Burlesque This process is gently led with safety and comfort always at the forefront when exploring our intimate edges. Come play!
Boulder Burlesque's Conscious Burlesque workshop is all about re-framing the way you view yourself, your body, your connection to other women, and the way you show up and interact with the rest of the world so that you can feel confident in your body.
Who: Madame Merci, You, and up to 8 other sassy ladies!
What: Exploring body image, uncovering our shadow sides, birthing burlesque characters, learning & creating original choreography, playing with humor, sass and the art of seduction, dressing up, stripping down, shaking our stuff and soaking up the applause!
When:
SF Bay Area: 3 evenings May 19th-21st 6:30p-9pm SOLD OUT
Boulder: 4 Tuesdays 5-7:30p July 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
SF: August 21st-23nd 7:00p-9:30pm
LA: August 28th-29th 6:30- 9pm
On the last evening there will be a performance component. Not required but highly recommended!
