Rhythm Turner, front-woman of the San Diego indie blues-rock band, Rhythm and the Method, will be returning home after being away for over 3 years. This highly anticipated concert event is to mark the return of the band to the local music scene, and to welcome Rhythm back home. Headlining is the recently reunited Rhythm and the Method. They will be performing with all five core members, as well as special guest drummer Billy Ray.
Other musicians on the bill are award-winning soul-jazz artist Steph Johnson, and Bart Mendoza & True Stories, a name that is certainly no stranger to the indie music scene. Dance performances by the tribal belly-dancing troop Iza Moon Dance Collective, and live visual art by LA artist Jim Chelius will be showcased throughout the evening in addition to the bands.
The event, MC'd by Local94/9 Radio Show's Tim Pyles, includes an exclusive pre-show meet & greet for VIPs, as well as an official midnight after-party with DJ Red Light on the 1s and 2s (entrance is $5 + 2for1 drinks midnight- close!). Food and beverage will be available at the venue, so be ready to party all night!
VIP tickets include entrance to the private, open-bar meet & greet, from 6-7pm, a RatM shwag-bag with lots of new merch and an exclusive new music download ; plus a ticket to the afterparty, which all together is over a $70 value.
This will definitely be an event to remember; you don't want to miss it!
