In The Still Of The Night
Award-winning performer Shana Farr opens her new solo show "In The Still Of The Night" taking the audience on a musical and poetical journey through the words and music of two of the 20th century's greatest and most prolific songwriters and poets - Noel Coward and Cole Porter. An evening of wit and flamboyance, chic and cheek, urbanity and elegance!
With both humor and sentiment, Shana Farr brings new interpretations to songs such as "Zigeuner", "Begin The Beguine", "Love For Sale", and "Just One Of Those Things" along with other favorites such as "What Is This Thing Called Love?", "My Heart Belongs To Daddy", "Never Again", "If Love Were All" and more. Working with award-winning music director, Jon Weber and cellist, Adam Fisher, these great standards are colored with the sounds of jazz and blues.
She has been called "an intelligent performer" with "exceptional talent for lyric interpretation." In this new, one-act production, she has created a story not only through lyrics but also through poetry and verse.
Shana Farr has performed in New York City, London, Orlando, St. Louis, and more.
