James Rogers and the Historic Grove Theater
Come to the Historic Grove Theater in Oak Ridge, TN to support Clinch River Home Health and to hear James Rogers the Entertainer. James Rogers is quickly becoming one of the most influential writers of patriotic music of his time. His song "Fly Eagle Fly" was selected as the Bicentennial song for the state of Tennessee and is now one of the official Tennessee State songs. Rogers has also written the theme song for the Air and Army National Guard titled "I Guard America". As of November 1999, "I Guard America" was officially adopted as the Guard's National Anthem. The American Eagle Foundation, which serves to protect, rehabilitate, and increase the numbers of the American Bald Eagle, asked Rogers to write a theme song for them. Rogers wrote and recorded "Save the Eagle." This one act set into motion the creation of the Dollywood National eagle Sanctuary where many eagles unreleasable to the wild have now found a protected home. In 2003, James wrote and sang "Where Eagles Fly" which has been adopted as the song for the Fraternal Order of Eagles (National). James premiered the song at their national conference in Buffalo, NY. James is not just a singer or just a songwriter or just a musician, He is an Entertainer. He uses his many talents to capture and mesmerize his audience. In the entertainment world that is becoming more and more controlled by "shock" comedians and performers. James manages to keep it clean endearing him even more to his audiences.
