Xico y Chiche Una Aventura Mesoamericana
A dance play showcasing the pre-hispanic dance of Mexico within the context of a play. Xico and Chiche is the story of the young son of the leader of a village in a fictitious pre-hispanic village in Mesoamerica, and his dog Chiche. Xico's mischievous character gets him in trouble, and his lack of skills in solving conflict affects and hurts those he loves. His actions takes him in a fascinating adventure which takes him to the land of his village's enemies. Xico encounters Xitlali, one of the villagers, and learns about her culture and is aided by her, transforming Xico and begins to respect the differences that he encounters and understand the sameness that they share.
