Join us for a conversation with Mark Green about Environmentalism and how it has to adjust to changing circumstances to remain a viable social movement.
What is environmentalism? Where did it come from, how has it changed...and why is much of what calls itself "environmentalism" today largely unrelated to the actual environment? What are the variables and trends which confront the movement going forward, and why do they force hard choices if the movement is to survive? Mark Green will speak on these questions and then engage in an undoubtedly lively group discussion at the High St. Salon on May 11.
