Thread City Hop Fest
The Thread City Hop Fest is a craft beer tasting, good food eating event slated for Saturday, April 26th in Willimantic, CT. From great food, to great beer and live music (with a lot of fun things in-between) this first time event is guaranteed to become a signature event in the City of Festivals.
Events that day will include:
Thread City Hop Fest Craft Beer Tasting from 12-4pm
$30/per person (Proper ID will be required)
Attendees will enjoy samples from over 30 breweries from throughout New England. A craft beer tasting of this size is a first in the Quiet Corner and it's happening in downtown Willimantic! Kick off the brew fest season right here in Willi! Reservations in advance are recommended,

Thread City Hop Fest Cheese and Beer Sessions!
$20/per person (Proper ID will be required).
Join Connecticut's cheesy experts Jason Sobocinksi of Caseus Fromagerie and Bistro and Brian Civitello of The Mystic Cheese Company for 3 very special artisan cheese and microbrew pairing sessions at the first annual Thread City Hop Fest! Each class includes 5 cheese and 5 beer samples.
There will be three sessions.
1pm CT Cheese and CT Beer!
2pm Regional Cheese and Beer!
3pm Wild Card!

Food and entertainment will be available for the whole family beginning at 11am. Willimantic will be well represented with some of its best culinary destinations. Willimantic Brewing Company, Cafémantic, Yellow Rose BBQ, Hosmer Mountain Soda, A Cupcake for Later, the Willimantic Food Co-op and Tacos La Rosa are scheduled to be there with an eclectic mix of delicious fare! But that's not all. Regional favorites Keifer's Kettle Korn, the Rolling Tomato, NoRA Cupcake Company and Fryborg (a gourmet French fry truck from New Haven) are all slated to be on hand, too.
Music by Bruce John, Eleventh Section, Dangerous Animals will add to the fun of the day. Don't miss the unique products offered by our guest vendors including Hartford Prints!, MBK Murals, VultureTown Press and the CT Beer Trail. Don't miss an opportunity to grab a Romantic Willimantic t-shirt while you're there!

*Please note that you will see a charge for Willimantic Renaissance, Inc. (WRI) This is the non profit organization that produces Willimantic's 3rd Thursday Street Fest and will share the proceeds with The No Freeze Project.
