Cajun Craze 2014
Last year, the Bloomington-Normal Daybreak Rotary Club hosted its first-ever fundraiser - Cajun Craze, which was a great success that met the goal of raising enough money to sponsor a Habitat for Humanity home. Last year's event sold out early and people arrived without tickets trying to get in. Don't miss the opportunity to participate again this year for the 2nd annual event.
We are increasing the number of tickets this year to 350 total, with a portion of those sold online here and the rest sold as physical tickets in hand. There will be no additional sales beyond those 350 tickets, so order soon.
Your $25 purchase pays for an all-you can eat crawfish boil, jambalaya and a soft drink. The crawfish will be flown in fresh the morning of the event. There will be 50/50 drawings and other activities, a cash bar with a Cajun Craze signature drink. There will also be a drawing for a trip for four to New Orleans valued at approximately $5000.
Anyone interested in purchasing the New Orleans trip raffle tickets for $100 each should email Daybreak Rotary (daybreakrotaryclub@gmail.com) or use Facebook or Twitter.
Cajun Craze will be at the Bloomington Center for Performing Arts (BCPA) in conjunction with the BCPA's annual Bayou Bash. BCPA will be providing the music by the Zydeco Crawdaddies, the same band that performed at Cajun Craze last year. While the Bayou Bash is open to the public, Cajun Craze will still be an exclusive event open only to ticket holders.
